Maaike Steinebach is a seasoned business leader with over 20 years of experience in financial services and technology, having held executive roles across London, Singapore, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. In 2019, she transitioned from banking to a tech-focused role as General Manager for Visa Hong Kong & Macau. Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, Steinebach believes that technology can revolutionize the mental, sexual, financial, and physical well-being of women.
In 2018, she co-founded the Fintech Association in Hong Kong and created networks like HK Women in Tech and the Women Chief Executive Forum Hong Kong to ensure women were represented in the tech sector.
In early 2023, Steinebach left Visa to pursue her passion for women’s health and launched Femtech Future Limited, a company dedicated to closing the gender health gap and using technology to democratize women’s health and well-being. She also invests in and consults for startups, corporates, insurers, and government agencies on Femtech and women’s health.
Steinebach has won multiple awards including Harpers Bazaar Visionary Women Award 2023 and Jessica HK Women in Tech Award 2024.
