Julie Conway
Julie Conway is President of Shamrock Advisors, LLC, a boutique consulting firm she founded in 2007 which specializes in political advocacy, grassroots strategy, non-profit development and fundraising management.
Julie is the Executive Director of Value In Electing Women Political Action Committee (VIEW PAC). VIEW PAC raises and distributes hundreds of thousands of dollars annually for female Republican incumbents and candidates for the U.S. House and U.S. Senate. She proudly serves as an extension of the GOP women’s political team, as well as trusted advisor and strategist.
In addition to numerous corporate clients (including iHeartMedia, Chevron and the National Beer Wholesalers Association), Julie is also an advisor to the Women’s Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER), offering advice and fundraising assistance to the only non-profit organization committed entirely to educating women about issues of retirement financials.
As the former Executive Director of the Prosperity Fund, Julie oversaw the unified grassroots political advocacy program for the national business community and raised over $75 million.
Julie has played an active role in every Republican National Convention since 2000. From organizing and executing hundreds of corporate, delegation, and political stand-alone activities, to running the House Republican Cloakroom, she has been engaged in all facets of successful event execution.
A native of upstate New York, Julie has been in Washington, DC for over twenty-five years and has devoted most of her professional career to political and non-profit fundraising, and government relations advocacy. Julie has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The American University and a Master of Arts in Political Management from The George Washington University.
Julie is a regular panelist and presenter at various women in politics events and candidate schools, as well as a guest speaker at numerous corporate and association PAC development meetings and Board gatherings. As a leader in the field of GOP women in federal politics, Julie has served as a guest lecturer at Rutgers University Eagleton School of Politics, the Center for American Women and Politics, the Women’s Campaign School at Yale, and the German Marshall Fund’s US Mission to the European Union in Brussels.
Julie is on the Board of Directors of the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, VA. She has served as a Board Member of the National Republican Club of Capitol Hill and was featured in the “Finding Forty Project,” a global initiative to showcase women from around the world who have made a difference in their community. National Journal recognized Julie as one of the “50 People Changing the Game in Washington” in 2019. Julie resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her rescue dog, Porter.
