Dr. Giulia Venturini is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Government & Public Policy at the University of Strathclyde, where they joined in May 2024. They are currently working on the Politician, Policies, and the Reproduction of Wealth project, funded by the Volkswagen Foundation and supervised by Dr. Despina Alexiadou. Their research explores how institutional change influences a variety of outcomes, including radical right support, executive cabinet composition, political knowledge, and women’s political representation.

Before moving to Glasgow, Dr. Venturini completed their Ph.D. in Political Science at Florida State University, as well as a BSc and MSc in Economics at Bocconi University.
