Ana Catalano Weeks
Dr. Ana Catalano Weeks is a Senior Lecturer in Comparative Politics in the Department of Politics, Languages, & International Studies at the University of Bath. Prior to joining Bath, they were a College Fellow in the Department of Government at Harvard University and a Research Fellow in the Women and Public Policy Program (WAPPP) at the Harvard Kennedy School. Dr. Catalano Weeks holds a PhD in Political Science from Harvard University, an MSc in Comparative Politics (Europe) from the LSE, and an AB in Government from Dartmouth College.
Dr. Catalano Weeks has received several prestigious awards, including the CES Carolina de Miguel Moyer Young Scholar Award (2024), the Best Paper Award from the APSA Women, Gender and Politics Section (2023), and the Pi Sigma Alpha / Franklin L. Burdette Prize (2018). Current research projects include exploring the gendered consequences of the mental load, the role of gender in populist radical right parties, and the impact of gender quota laws on women’s representation in cabinets worldwide.
